1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Afar Yangudi Luxury Hotel website (“Site”), making a reservation, or staying at our hotel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Definitions

• “Hotel,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Afar Yangudi Luxury Hotel.
• “Guest,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual making a reservation or staying at the hotel.
• “Services” refers to accommodations, amenities, and related services provided by the hotel.
• “Reservation” means a confirmed booking for accommodation and/or other services.

3. Reservations and Bookings

3.1. Booking Process

Reservations may be made via our website, by phone, email, or authorized third-party platforms. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3.2. Guest Information

You must provide accurate and complete details during the booking process, including your full name, contact details, and payment information. Only individuals aged 18 and above may make reservations.

3.3. Reservation Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email or number from us. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our discretion.

3.4. Group Bookings

Special terms apply to group bookings (5 rooms or more). Please contact us directly for arrangements.

4. Rates and Payment

4.1. Rates

All rates are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) or Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and may change without prior notice. Rates include applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

4.2. Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfer, and cash (ETB only). Foreign currency payments are subject to the exchange rate at the time of transaction.

4.3. Deposit and Prepayment

Some rates may require a deposit or full prepayment. Specific conditions will be communicated during booking.

4.4. Taxes

All bookings are subject to Ethiopian taxes, including VAT and tourism levies, unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellation and Modification Policy

5.1. Standard Cancellation

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before arrival: No charge.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival: One night’s stay charged.

5.2. No-Shows

Failure to arrive without prior cancellation will result in a charge equal to one night’s stay.

5.3. Early Departure

Early check-outs may incur an early departure fee.

5.4. Special Rate Policies

Some promotions or special rates carry unique cancellation rules, which will be disclosed during booking.

5.5. Modifications

Reservation changes are subject to availability and possible rate differences. Please contact us directly.

6. Check-in and Check-out

6.1. Check-in

Check-in begins at 2:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and additional charges.

6.2. Check-out

Check-out is by 12:00 PM. Late check-outs may incur charges:

• Until 3:00 PM: 50% of daily rate
• After 3:00 PM: 100% of daily rate

6.3. Identification

Guests must present valid government-issued ID at check-in. International guests must show a valid passport and visa in accordance with Ethiopian immigration laws.

7. Guest Responsibilities

7.1. Behavior

Guests must conduct themselves respectfully and in compliance with Ethiopian law. We reserve the right to remove guests without refund if behavior is disruptive or unlawful.

7.2. Property Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property. Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the guest’s credit card.

7.3. Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A cleaning fee of ---ETB applies for violations.

7.4. Pets

Pets are not permitted, except for service animals (advance notice required).

7.5. Valuables

In-room safes are provided. The hotel is not liable for loss or damage to property not secured in the safe or deposited at the front desk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for accommodation and services. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• Loss or damage to guest property
• Events beyond our control (force majeure)
• Services rendered by third parties

9. Intellectual Property

All website content (text, graphics, images, logos) belongs to Afar Yangudi Luxury Hotel or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Ethiopian law. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
